This season has been especially bad for allergy eyes - red, itchy, watery and whitish, stringy discharge. If you are taking oral antihistamines and they are not enough, there are OTC and prescription eye drops that help a ton. Make sure that you ask you Optometrist about HOW to use the drops as different drops (e.g. Opticrom vs. Naphcon-A vs. Patanol) have different actions.
