With peace-and-love... this technique will likely end up with you having distorted / damaged lenses. Blasting a coated spectacle lens with a hot hair dryer will craze (crack) the coatings causing foggy vision and glare through the lenses. Advise... visit the Optometrist or Optical Shop where you purchased the glasses! They can help you! (It is odd that the article is about adjusting plastic frames... and the image shows a metal?!)
