"I am 21 years old and have been wearing very thick glasses since I was 4 years old and have struggled immensely with having amblyopia (lazy eye) along with a very strong astigmatism and dry eye syndrome. After being told by previous eye doctors that I am hopeless when it comes to wearing contacts comfortably and can never get laser eye surgery it left me feeling doomed and self-concious about my future.
