You may see adds on late night TV for yellow lenses... What do they do? Yellow filters block blue light. Because of its wavelength, blue light scatters inside the eye the most... No blue light = less scatter = better acuity. These lenses deliver better acuity but the intense yellow colour distortion is not well tolerated by most folks.
