Oct 27 - 15 | I am always amazed at how much the thin layer of tears on your eyes effects vision. If this complex tear mixture is not the right recipe... beyond discomfort, it can lead to surprising poor vision. The term "dry" eye is probably not the best descriptor as many people with "dry" eyes have reflex tearing causing excessively watery eyes and blurred vision. Sight can also be effected a viscous/thick/frothy tear film from low tear volume. Ignoring dry eye over the long term (which most people tend to do) leads to redness, inflammation, light sensitivity and further complications.
